Things That Go Bloom

This art video was created for all my family and friends out there who have been like flowers in my life. There are many, and I love you all!

Braving The Storm

It's been awhile since I've painted wildlife, and it's always a joy. These elk were no exception! I visited an elk farm, and was able to observe these amazing animals close up! What fun!

Abstract 'Waterfalls' acrylic painting!

A little girl I know is having her 13th birthday soon, and I wanted to create something special for her. This painting is an abstract to go with her new bedroom colors. Happy Birthday Emma!

Caress

This is a painting I exhibited at a recent art show. Many people love my big flowers, and this yellow lily was no exception.

City Lights

This is the third oil painting/video in my 'Storm Chase' series. I wanted to do something a bit more intense, and electrifying. I do my best work in realism, but this one has a feel of abstract about it.

Power Lines

I love chasing thunderstorms when they pass through my area. Lately, there has only been light rain in the forecast. So I decided to do a series of paintings depicting those vicious storms that sail across the plains of the mid-west. 'Power Lines' is the second painting in my 'Storm Chase' series. I hope you enjoy the chase.

Morning Quest

I spent several hours waiting by the eagles nest to capture footage for this art video. It's illegal to get too close, so I had to deal with 50 jillion trees between me and the birds. Be sure to watch it in full screen for the best view!

Eclipse

I believe most of us have gone through some dark times in our lives, but those times pass...slowly. Like an 'eclipse' of life, we get through it. And life is beautiful again. This oil painting represents the passing of that darkness, and the beauty that unfolds.

Size: 24" x 36" stretched canvas.
